After graduating from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Estate Management, Chin joined Colliers Malaysia in 2000 as a Valuation Executive and was promoted to Manager in 2005. She was enrolled as an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (R.I.C.S.) in 2005 and registered under The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia in 2005. She was appointed Associate Director in 2010 and subsequently an Executive Director of the Company in February 2012.

Throughout her career, she has worked in the property industry, amassing a wealth of knowledge and experience in various areas, such as property valuations (both retail and corporate), specialized property valuation, estate agencies, market and feasibility studies, and compulsory land acquisition matters.
